I had the opportunity to work with Kevin for several years. He was a great mentor and taught me everything about Leak Detection and being a professional that works with integrity. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and we shared many laughs. He always had great stories about his camping trips and was always willing to share advice about the best places to visit. I learned so much from him and I am so grateful to have had the chance to work with him. I send my deepest condolences to Barb and the family.

So sad to hear this news. I have so many great memories working with Kevin and getting to know him over the years. I can hear his great laugh and sarcasm in my head right now! He was an outstanding person with so much integrity and he will be missed so much. Thank you Kevin for many years of laughs no matter how stressful the situation!

Kevin, I will never forget how you made our on-call life at work so manageable. We would be pressured and nervous about being on-call but thanks to your unwavering support anytime of the day or night. You rarely missed a call from us, you were that person who is always willing to help and share your expertise. Thank you so much for how you made our work fun because of your very good sense of humor. 
We will miss you big time.

We lost an integral part of our neighbourhood when Kevin passed. It was always a pleasure to see him — a kind gentleman with a subtle sense of humour, and always a cheerful word.  My deepest condolences to his loving wife Barb, and to all his family and friends.

I was grateful to have worked with Kevin. He embodied what a true work ethic means—a deep sense of personal commitment and responsibility to his team’s success—which is rare to find today. Despite his decades of experience, I was humbled by his modesty and inspired by his dedication to nurturing young professionals, helping them grow and shine. His commitment to the well-functioning of the Leak Detection system, along with his reminders of good coding practices and the central role of users in software development, left a lasting mark. I had hoped he’d return one day to see our work and feel proud, but even in his absence, his legacy will live on in the minds of his colleagues and the codebase of the LD system, a field where he invested so much of his professional life. Rest in Peace, Kevin.

My deepest condolences to Kevin’s family and friends. I had the privilege of working closely with him for many years, and he was always the first to lend a hand. Integrity was at the core of who he was—he made sure we did the right thing and that everyone had the support they needed. When others were facing long hours or tough challenges, Kevin was right there beside them, no matter the time of day or night. I’ll always remember the countless days and evenings we spent working side by side—focused and driven, but never without a moment for a joke or a well-timed jab. Kevin’s presence, kindness, and steady support left a mark on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

Both myself and Rick are so very sad that Kevin is gone.  There are many times I think of you and he and your adventures, as our trips take us close by similar places.  I will continue to have those thoughts which will keep Kevin in my mind in the future. I can only hope that the grand life you two had together, and those memories, in time, will help with the sorrow. I am so sorry.

Kevin, you were more than just a mentor to me during my time at TC—you were a true inspiration. Each week, you shared incredible stories about your outdoor adventures, your trailer, the infamous Land Rover, and your biking trips.

Kevin, you were more than just a coworker — you were  a source of support, inspiration, and warmth for everyone who had the privilege of working alongside you. Whether it was through a thoughtful gesture, a warm smile, or a willingness to help others, You made a lasting impression that will not be forgotten.

As we grieve this tremendous loss, we also celebrate a life well lived — a life that touched so many. Kevin may no longer be with us in person, but his legacy lives on in our hearts and memories.
