Kevin met his wife Barbara at Lethbridge Community College where he graduated with a degree in Computer Science. Kevin worked in oil and gas for 38 years and loved his work. They loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, biking, in Alberta and BC, target shooting with his bow & arrow and guns, off roading with his buddies through Waiporous, and Sheep River area. Other hobbies included model airplanes and remote control cars.
He is lovingly remembered by is wife of 32 years, Barbara, brother Keith, sister Kathryn Hamilton, nieces Taylor, Nicole and Terri-Lynn, grandnieces and grandnephews Tayler, Brook, mother-in-law Mary, sisters-in-law Brenda (Randy), Judy, Rhonda (Bill), brothers-in-law Barry (Therese), Darrell (Martine), nieces and nephews Natalie, Tamiko, Alexandra, Matthew, Jesse, Sarah, Eden, Chad, Morgan, grandniece Millie, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Leonard (Zoria) Novakowski.
A Celebration of Kevin's Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
