Kirsten "Kiki" Eskildsen

Kiki Eskildsen passed away peacefully at home on April 9, 2023 at the age of 90 years. Kiki will be sadly missed by her three children Glenn (Sandi), Susan (Michael), and Debbie; her four grandchildren Robert (Jackie), Annette, Annyssa and Curtis (Baylee); and her great-granddaughter Nora. She will also be missed by her sisters Bente (Morten) and Nina (Bent) and many relatives in Canada and Denmark.

Kiki arrived in Canada in 1958 from Denmark to visit her sister, with the intention of travelling on to the U.S.; however, she met John, and they married in 1959. Together they explored the national and provincial parks of their new home country. Kiki worked as a nurse at the Calgary General Hospital and Peter Lougheed Centre. After many years of service, she retired in 1998. Her post-retirement days were filled with Tai Chi and deep-water workouts and the friends she made there.
