Surrounded by family, Lillian passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her husband Doug; sons Bob and Steve; and six grandchildren; Tyler, Mellissa, Kevin, Thomas, Sarah, and Amy.
Lillian was fond of traveling the country side in there RV and took special pride in painting and decorating antique items.
A Celebration of Lillian’s life took place at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail South, on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.
God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you,
And whispered, “Come with me”.
So he took you to his garden,
And laid you there to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
For he only takes the best.
The family wishes to thanks Dr. Leggett and staff of Unit 72 at the Rockyview Hospital for their care and support during Lillian’s hospitalization.
