A devoted and caring mother and grandmother, Margaret is survived by her daughters, Marlene Gail and Beverly Ann as well as by her grandson, John Wayne and granddaughter, Kayleigh Anna. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Robert Grant, in 1997 and brother, Donald Fox, in 2005. Margaret was an accomplished seamstress who made many dresses for her daughters. Robert and Margaret often enjoyed taking the entire family on trips. She has left a void in her family’s lives that will never be filled. There are no words to adequately thank the staff at the Prince of Peace Manor and the compassionate care of her two physicians, Dr. Jeannette Soriano and Dr. Matthew van Olm.
Margaret will be laid to rest in the Field of Honour at Queen’s Park Cemetery beside her husband in a private family graveside service. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
