Margaret was a loving mother to JoanE Smits (Jerry), David (Heather) Diane Laidlaw, Ernie (Darlene); cherished grandchildren Jason (Carolyn), Matthew, Daniel, Christine, John (Kate), Jenna (John), Jordon (Elfi Rose); 3 great grandchildren, 3 step-children and 7 step-great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Alfred Wisman, son-in-law David and daughter-in-law Debra.
Mom was amazed by the fact that she was the last surveyor of her generation of 26.
The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of Silvera-Aspen Lodge for the years of kindness and care they have given her.
Mom will also be missed by her many friends at Aspen Lodge.
A Celebration of Life will be held at “The Farm” in Ontario on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A private interment will follow at Bracebridge Municipal Cemetery in the designated Veterans section.
