Mark passed away peacefully with family at his side on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Mark served his country for five years in the Korean War as a radio officer with the R.C.A.F. Mark was ordained in 1960 as a Pastor with the Lutheran Church. He was recognized for his fifty years of ministry in the E.L.C.I.C. at the Synod Convention in Camrose this summer. Mark is lovingly remembered by Hely, wife of fifty-six years; daughter Reverend Marty (Doug) Tuer, and their children, Daniel (Ying) and Jason; son, Mark and his children, Sean and Katie. Those wishing to pay their respects did so at a Visitation held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Service was held at Advent Lutheran Church, 11 Scenic Gate Acres N.W., Calgary on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., with Bishop Telmor Sartison officiating. In Rev. Innes' memory, donations may be made directly to Waterloo Lutheran Seminary, 75 University Avenue, Waterloo, ON N2L 3C5.
