Mark, when we think of you our hearts smile. You were a gentle, kind and caring man, son, brother, husband, stepdad, uncle, and friend. Your presence lit up our lives. You will be missed. Your love is forever in our hearts.
Mark is lovingly remembered by his wife Iris; brother Malcolm Preece (Lori) and sister Fern Preece. He is sadly missed by daughter in law Shonny O’Brien (Shayne), sister in law Billie Zeith, as well as his nieces and nephews. Mark is survived by trusted friends Roger and Sharon Swart, and numerous friends in Calgary and Nova Scotia; where Mark and Iris got married.
Mark is predeceased by his step sons Warren O’Brien and Darren O’Brien, as well as his parents Albert and Gwen Preece.
A Celebration of Mark’s Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
