Mary Mercer passed away peacefully at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on August 29, 2010 at the age of 81 years. Mary loved to garden and spending time with her family. She is lovingly remembered by her son, Brian (Donna); grandsons, Robert (Tracy) and James (Rhonda); great grandchildren, Kayla-Ann, Connor, Christian, Saya, and Aidan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mary is also survived by two sisters, Adeline Moeller and Enida Stewart. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1996. A Memorial Service was held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Alberta Cancer Foundation, c/o Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 – 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 4N2.
