What a privilege I had to go to work and share my day with such a remarkable person.  May was a women of presence!  She was extremely vibrant and full of spunk.  People were naturally drawn to who she was.  I have been reminiscing about our time together and I am truly a better person for knowing May.  She gave me perspective on the quality things in life that so many of us take for granted.  She valued connecting with others and did so with her smile and of course her grad entrance "Hi O".  Lily when you spoke of this at her funeral it was one of those moments when you are in awe of a women who could light up a room by simply walking in it.   I loved how she just demanded respect from others by standing up for what she wanted.  That is one of the greatest gifts she gave me was to learn to honor her and her choices whether I agreed or not.  I am so thankful to God for bringing May into my life.  I loved her very much and will smile when I think of her and the joy and the life's lessons she brought to me.   So much of our experiences we have in life with others are opportunities to grow and May helped me see that, thank you May for being YOU!

May brought such tender beauty to our lives. I loved to see the joy she felt when holding our precious Hugh and Bianca as babies. It was a blessing to know May. Our deepest love and sympathy are with all of May's family.

May was a special individual.  I am honored that I got to be a part of her life.  She brought many smiles to the people she met. She will be missed.  My thoughts are with you during this time.

I remember May had a wonderful, silly sense of humour, she laughed from her heart.  May gave the sweetest, most tender, gentle hugs.  I will miss May and her place in the Louie family.  Sending love and good wishes to all who loved May. (Childhood friend of the Louie family)

May had such a beautiful spirit, I kept a picture of her on my bullitin board for years because her smile lit up a room! I will never forget her laugh or her smile. It was a privilege knowing her.

I had the privilege of knowing May.  She was a wonderful light in my life, and in the lives of so many others.  She was simply a beautiful person - kind and generous and full of life and smiles - someone who made us all better people - or certainly made us all want to strive to be better.  I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She has left a mark in my heart and I am certain in the hearts of many others.   I am glad to have had the privilege of knowing and learning from her.  My heartfelt sympathy is extended to her family and to all those who also loved this wonderful woman.
