He leaves to mourn his partner in life Carrie Johns. He also leaves his children, Donyrah, Michael Andrew Jr., Michael Trey, Talene, Rosie, Tyson, Savanah and Cadense; and grandchildren, Neveah, Lydia, Sunita, Lincoln, Kcenya and Marley. Also mourning his loss are his siblings, Joseph (Sheila), Kim (Dennis), George (Chicoma), Jackie, Wanda, David, Lisa, Jason, Michelle, Daniel, Jim and Darla. He was predeceased by his son Alex; his father Danny; his grandmothers Betty and Mabel; his brothers Darrell and Tim; and grandfathers William and Gilbert.
A Wake Service will be held at the home of Dennis and Kim Simon, (Tsuu T’ina Nation) on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Simon residence on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow.
