Mike is lovingly remembered by Maria, his wife of 44 years; his children, Antonietta (Ted), Luana (Kurt), Sabrina (Rick) and Dominic Loris (Sarah). Mike’s family in Italy includes his brother, Rocco (Angela) and his sisters, Anna, Philomena (Nicola), Lucia and Giovanni (Giorgio). Mike was a wonderful Nonno to his eight grandchildren, who will miss him dearly. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his sister. Mike was born in Italy and immigrated to Toronto where he met his wife Maria. He then later moved to Calgary with his young family. He took pleasure in working in his garden and making wine and he would always offer a glass to anyone who stopped by. He loved great food and it showed in family dinners. He had a strong work ethic and took pride in his work.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1714 14 Ave N.E., Calgary, AB on Saturday, October 12 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Jimmy Puttanaickal, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
