A beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, Michelle passed away after a courageous battle with leukemia at the age of 39 years on Monday, February 17, 2020 at home in Calgary, Alberta.
Michelle is survived by her 10 year old daughter, Isabel Puelma-Lazarenko, who will miss her mom very much. Also survived by her mother, Deborah Holoboff, stepdad, Jim Nimmo, brother James Lazarenko, sister Christina Lazarenko, niece Samantha Lazarenko and many cousins from Calgary, Alberta and British Columbia.
When you think of Michelle, celebrate the good memories you have of her.
We will always remember her infectious smile, piercing blue eyes and caring personality. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Many thanks to Dr. Salby and his team on Unit 38 and all the nurses at the Peter Lougheed Centre who cared for Michelle. Special thanks to the palliative care nurses at her home who cared for Michelle and surrounded her with lots of love on her final journey.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
