

Olga was born on a farm on land that is now part of south Edmonton. She was the fourth child of Peter and Tina Ohlmann. After living on various farms, the Ohlmann family, by then a family of 13, settled on their own farm east of Leduc, where Olga spent the rest of her adolescence and school years.
Olga worked and lived in Edmonton until she met Eli in April of 1961. They were married in November and lived on their farm two miles north of Ferintosh. Their three children were born in the 60’s.
In 1971, the family moved to Calgary. Olga worked alongside Eli at OK Shoe Repair. In later years she provided companionship for seniors.
1n 1996, they retired and enjoyed many years of camping, Seniors’ Camp, and gospel music weekends.
Olga will be sadly missed by her daughter Brenda (Dan) and their son Joshua, as well as son Lorne (Lesley-An) with their children Dixon (Summer), Spencer (Mikayla) and Morgan (Jason), and their seven grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters and three brothers as well as five sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Olga is predeceased by her husband Eli; son Arnie; parents Peter and Tina; as well as three brothers and one sister.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with the Reverend Gary Taitinger officiating. For those wishing to attend the service virtually, please use the link that is provided under the service information below.
Interment will follow at Heimdal Cemetery, 24041 Township Road 490 (Glen Park Road), Leduc County on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
