Ottmar Schmid passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, AB on Monday, May 5, 2014 at the age of 84 years. Ottmar is survived by his wife Barbara of 62 years; son, Otto (Wanita) and daughter Marissa, all of Calgary. He will be sadly missed by the Lublinkhof family of Parksville, BC as well as the many relatives and friends in Calgary, Germany, USA and BC.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Prayer Service held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, May 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, Suite 200-119 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6.
