Paul was born in Sarnia, Ontario, and grew up in Windsor alongside his younger siblings, Steve and Michelle. In the late 1970s, he made the bold decision to move out west, funding the journey by selling his beloved 1968 Camaro. Calgary later became his home, where he married and raised his two children, Nicole and Tyler.
Known for his quick wit, sharp negotiating skills, and unwavering integrity, Paul was a man of remarkable character. He had a lifelong passion for collecting antiques—especially vintage toys—and was renowned for his ability to find a great deal. His kindness, sense of humor, and entrepreneurial spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Paul is lovingly remembered by his children, Nicole and Tyler; his siblings, Steve (Jane) and Michelle (Rob); and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Denise Kipping.
Paul’s steadfast love for his family and friends will live on in the hearts of all who knew and cherished him.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Tuxedo Park Community Association (202 29th Avenue NE) on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
