Paula Marguerite Cox passed away peacefully in Brooks, AB on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 after a battle with ovarian cancer. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Patrick and their three daughters and families. Jennifer Therriault and her daughters Marguerite and Olivia, Denea (Nick) Beer and their children Liam and Alexandria and Sarah Cox (Patrick McDonough) and their children Arianna and Taylen. Paula is also survived by her siblings, Wendy Whitehouse (Royce Townsend), Jim Whitehouse (Verna Dittkrist), Edna Whitehouse (Lorraine Lang), Rona (Ray) Reitsema, Naomi Jamieson, Dan (Carrie) Whitehouse and Lorita Whitehouse, nieces and nephews, family and close friends. She was predeceased by her parents Ron and Shirley Whitehouse and brother-in-law Wyatt Jamieson.
A Celebration of Paula’s Life will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gem Community Hall in Gem, AB.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, (2888 Shaganappi Trail NW, Calgary, AB T3B 6A8).
