Peter was a devoted and loving husband to Paula Ierullo, his partner in life and truly his best friend. He was a proud and dedicated father to Peter Jr., Michael, Timothy, and Steven (Keira), always present, deeply caring, and consistently putting his family first. He was predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Mary Ierullo and his brother Anthony Ierullo. Becoming a grandfather brought him immense joy. He absolutely adored his grandchildren Chloe, Kaydence, Cohen, Lylah, Dominic, and Gabriel, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Grandpa had a remarkable ability to tell the best bedtime stories and spent meaningful time with each of them, showing endless patience, love, and kindness. He is also survived by his nieces Tammy Lehtinen, Lisa Ierullo and their families along with countless family and friends.
Peter had a special way of making people feel welcome and included, as though they were part of his family. He was dependable, generous, and a friend you could always count on, someone who would listen, laugh with you, and stand by you when it mattered most. He would even go out of his way to help complete strangers in need, offering kindness and support whenever he could. His warmth, big heart, and genuine care touched more lives than he likely ever knew.
He loved working with his hands and took great pride in creating things for others. From an early age, Peter had a passion for photography and was fascinated by capturing moments and preserving memories through pictures. He was also passionate about woodworking and engraving meaningful projects, finding joy in creating lasting pieces for the people he loved. He was deeply committed to teaching and sharing his knowledge, always eager to pass what he had learned onto the next generation.
Peter’s legacy lives on through the love he gave, the lessons he shared, and the family and friends who will carry his memory forward forever.
