Robert was known as “Father Bob” to some and had a great sense of Irish humour. His passion was playing the piano. He was a great piano player and piano teacher. He would tell his daughter Jennifer to cut her finger nails as he could hear her clicking the keys on the piano with her nails. He also played the pipe organ at the churches and at events etc. He was well known to many. He enjoyed going to the mountains with Peggy and loved the Okanagan in B.C. His request was that we “raise the arm” in memory and to remember him with his Irish sense of humour. Robert requested we have no service for him and we respect his wishes. He will be dearly missed by his family and many. We wish you peace within your heart and soul and we know you will be looking over us all with love in your heart and laughter.
We also want to thank everyone at the Willow Creek Auxiliary Extended Care Unit in Claresholm, AB for taking care of dad for us. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly the Canadian Cancer Society, (#200, 325 Manning Rd NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5) or to a charity of your choice.
