Sarah Sadie Jane Ferguson Finney

Sadie will be sadly missed by her daughters, Hazel and Hilary; son, Allan (Dawn), and grandchildren, Susan (Wade), Sandra, Tyler, and Robyn and great-grandsons, Riley, Spencer, Desmond, and Travis. Sadie is also survived by sister-in-law, Mabel, of Stockport, England as well as leaving behind many nieces and nephews in Northern Ireland, England and Wales. She was predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Ferguson; sister, Minne; brother, John; husband, Len and son-in-law, Les. The family immigrated to Canada in 1960 and resided in Calgary. Sadie was a proud member of 264 Legion. She enjoyed camping in her travel trailer, outdoor life, gardening and time spent with family. Sadie will be sadly missed by family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, and if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to The Royal Canadian Legion North Calgary Branch 264, 1910 Kensington Road N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 3R5.
