Stella was a founding member of the Pet Access League Society (PALS), an organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of individuals through pet therapy, and volunteered as a team leader for over 25 years. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband. Stella is memorialized in the hearts of those who love her for her tender, nurturing and selfless love; her devotion to her family, whom she cherished; her compassion for and service to others; and her love for and kindness to animals. The family would like to thank the staff at Bethany Care Centre for their dedication and compassion in caring for Stella as a resident of the facility from 2010 to the time of her passing.
