Tommasina Vincenzina Gentile

Born in San Giovanni D’Albi, Catanzaro, Italy. She immigrated to Canada with her three young children to join her husband. Tommasina enjoyed cooking & spending time with her family and friends. She loved to travel with her husband and family members to Italy, Hawaii and Barbados.

Tommasina is survived by her husband of 68 years, Paolo Gentile; their children Rosario Gentile (Heather Kondla), Palma Gentile, Mari Hagerman (Warren), Joanne Scoffield (Joel), and Pina Gentile; five grandchildren Chantelle Gentile (Blair Browne), Christa Lewis (Duane), Paul Gentile (Vanessa), Cody Hagerman and Lisa Kondla (Darren Reed); and six great-grandchildren Amari Smith, Ava & Carmelo Lewis, Elio Gentile, Wren Kondla and Jay Reed. Tommasina is also lovingly remembered by extended family; Toni Bilotta, Luca Bilotta (Debbie), Delano Bilotta, Joe Bilotta (Janette) and numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.

A Funeral Service will be held at Foster's Garden Chapel, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with Entombment to follow in the Mausoleum at Queen's Park Cemetery.
