Ty is survived by his paternal aunts Linda and Debbie; maternal aunts and uncles Ken and Pam, Lynn and Al, numerous cousins and many many friends. He was predeceased by all his grandparents.
Ty was born and raised in Calgary, attending St. Martha’s Elementary and Junior High, then Father Lacombe High School. He graduated from the University of Calgary with a degree in Business and applied himself to every position he held since then. Ty loved learning new roles, accepting challenge and advancing his professional career.
He also loved basketball, and played all through his school years, continuing in recreational leagues up until his passing. He inherited his grandfather’s love of golf and fancied himself as quite a talented player.
In keeping with his wishes, Ty has been cremated. The family will scatter his ashes privately at a later date.
The family invites you to a Celebration of his Life at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Please wear your basketball jersey, golf shirt or brightest colors. Ty loved his shoe collection and would love anyone to wear bright colored shoes or Converse High Tops.
The City of Calgary Vaccine Passport Bylaw 65M2021 requires all individuals attending funeral services to provide COVID-19 proof of vaccination, or proof of a privately-paid negative test result taken within 72 hours of service, or documentation of medical exemption.
Help us celebrate and say goodbye to a truly wonderful, talented, smart, funny, kind and loving young man.
If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Distress Centre Calgary (DCC), (https://distresscentre.com/donate).
