Vernon William Gallant

Vern is lovingly survived by his wife Louise Gallant and his children Tim O’Beirne, Dan O’Beirne, Linda O’Beirne and Cindy Harmer (nee O’Beirne), Lisa and Pete McFadden, Lorie and Ian Mayes, Jason and Candace Gallant, 21 Grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and his siblings Edward and SR Reta Gallant.

Vern is preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Elizabeth Gallant and his siblings Jimmie, Benny, Artie, Leo, Theresa, Bernadette, Vincent and Clarence Gallant and son in law Kevin Harmer.

Vern was born in Prince Edward Island to Andrew and Elizabeth Gallant on September 26, 1932. He married Louise Revel on August 19, 1978 in Rexdale, ON. He was an amazing man who loved his family, and took great joy in being around all the babies, he loved to tease and sing to us all. He had a kind gentle heart.

In Lieu of flowers the family ask to make a donation to St Francis De Sales Catholic Church, High River, AB in his name.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ogoke, the nurses who cared for him, Father Marius and Deacon Larry.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2023 at St Francis De Sales Catholic Church. 206 – 9thAve SW, High River, AB with Deacon Larry officiating. Celebration of life to follow after with snacks.
