Wallace Lloyd Bowden

Lloyd was a devoted family man, father, and friend whose life was marked by quiet strength, kindness, and integrity. He valued hard work and loyalty, and he carried those values consistently throughout his life. Those who knew Lloyd remember his steady presence, dependability, and the deep care he showed for his family. Lloyd was very proud of all of his children and grandchildren and spoke of them often throughout his life.

Lloyd was predeceased by his son, David, and by his beloved wife, Diana Marie Bowden, in whom he took great pride and whose life and legacy he deeply cherished. He was a proud father and is lovingly remembered by his children: John Bowden (Dee), Christine Popkes (Trevor), Roxanne Beliveau (Steve), James Bowden (Krista), and his sister-in-law Joanne Nickerson (Steve). He is now with the love of his life and at peace.

He will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren: Curtis and Ashleigh Skaper, Paige and Christopher Engleman, James and Mark Bowden, and Johnathan, Avery, and Jessica Bowden; and by his great-grandchildren, Joseph and Ally Bowden.

Lloyd will be fondly remembered by his family and friends, and by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on through the generations who carry his values, strength, and love forward.

The family wishes to thank everyone who has offered their support, compassion, and kindness during this difficult time.

A service to honour Lloyd’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to remember Lloyd to do so in a meaningful way — through shared memories, quiet reflection, or acts of kindness in his honour.
