

Born to Steva and Stanley Bochon on October 24, 1956, in Myrnam, Alberta, Wanda was the middle child with older brother Warren and younger sister Marcia. Wanda attended New Myrnam school, grade 1 to 12 with post-secondary education at Grant MacEwen College in Edmonton studying fashion design. Wanda was known for her fashion sense, elegance, and grace.
Wanda’s career spanned accounting, administrative and executive assistant roles in the legal and oil and gas industries.
Wanda’s greatest joys in life were socializing and dancing till the music stopped. She looked forward to the Calgary Stampede social events every year.
Left to cherish her memory are brother Warren (Sandy) and sister Marcia (Paul) Bochon-Force; nieces Michelle, Amy and Amber; great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, uncles and friends. Wanda was predeceased by her mother and father, Steva and Stanley Bochon, grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
To pay final respects, a Graveside Service will be held at Queens Park Cemetery, Section X, 3219 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. with Father Edmund Vargas officiating.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the staff and residents of Extendicare Cedars Villa for the compassionate care, respect and friendship shown to Wanda. Thank you.
Wanda is profoundly loved and missed. She will forever be remembered in our hearts and memories.
