Born on May 3, 1946, he was the son of the late Gerald & Frances Langille.
Wayne is survived by his steadfast, loving wife and partner in life, Gayle MacLean. He leaves behind his beloved son, Norman Godin. Wayne also leaves behind his much-loved siblings, Gary Langille (Mary Clare), Deborah (Doug) Chisholm, Valerie (Dave) Findlay, Jo-Ann Morrow, and Sherry Langille (Scott). Also left to mourn are his grandchildren, Brett and Breagh Godin and his great-grandchildren, Jakkiah and Josiah. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Rick, and sister, Brenda.
Up until his passing, Wayne was the Chief Engineer at Cargill, in High River, Alberta. Previous to that, he was employed by the Department of National Defense for many years until his retirement in 2012, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Wayne was well-liked by his colleagues and when Wayne wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with friends, family, and neighbours. He loved duck hunting in the fall with his friends.
Cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life for Wayne will be held at the Mic Mac Amateur Aquatic Club, Prince Albert Road in Dartmouth on July 13th between 2:00PM and 4:00PM.
