Mr. William Iwasyk

Bill will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his only daughter, Sandra (Lesia) and son-in-law, Volodia as well as by his two grandchildren, Alexander and Anastasia. Bill is also survived by his wife Pearl’s son, Ron (Marge) Wawryn and their daughter, Shelley (Stefan). Bill was predeceased by his loving wife, Pearl, in November 2008; brothers, Dmytro and Yurko and sister, Hania, all in Ukraine. The family would like to express its sincere gratitude to the wonderful caregivers at Brentwood Care Centre who deeply cared for and assisted Bill in his final life journey.

Parastas and Panakhyda Prayer Services will be celebrated on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 704 - 6 Street N.E., Calgary. Divine Liturgy, also at Assumption Church, will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014 with Reverend Michael Bohun, celebrant. A Graveside Service will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca. З Богом нехай спочиває!!
