William is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Dorothy, daughter Lorraine (Darryl) and son Rob (Cheryl). He will also be deeply missed by his grandsons David (Trina) of Saskatoon, Rob (Eliza) of Vancouver, Murray and Steven. William is survived by his sister Frances of Red Deer and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Alice and William, sister Lavine and nephew Gordon.
Because of his unwavering faith, he left a rich faith heritage for his entire family. The family wishes to express their profound gratitude to the staff of Cedar Villas Extendicare for their kind and loving care for Bill in his last years.
A Celebration of William's life will be held at Crescent Heights Baptist Church - 1212 1 St NW Calgary on Thursday September 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's memory, directly to the charity of your choice.
