With broken hearts, we announce our sister’s passing, after a brief illness on Saturday, January 3, 2015 in her 61st year. Predeceased by her parents George and Annabelle Brohman and great-nephew Benjamin. Beloved sister of Tim (Wanda), Marilyn (Fred) and Bonnie (Paul). She will always be remembered by her soul mate, James Newell of Kentucky and missed by nieces, nephews and many friends. A long-time employee of Dimplex but fishing and boating were her passion. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519-653-3251) on Thursday, January 8th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. If desired, donations in Carilyn’s memory to the McMaster Children’s Hospital or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
