

With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Chester Rozen on April 26, 2016 at the age of 71. Chester was an avid sports player, with a special focus on golf, hockey, and teaching junior golf. He was employed at Budd Automotive in Kitchener for 29 years. He gave 30 years of his time to volunteering at the Telecare Crisis Center and Cambridge Charity Bingo. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his Wife Gloria Rozen; Mother Mary Palinski; Sisters Donna (Les) Racz, Phyllis (Jim) Glass, Jeannie (Rick) Hussey; Brother Matt (Vera) Palinski; Brothers-in-law Ron (Julia) Snell, Mike (Cindy) Snell, Bob Snell (Catharine Sanger), Ray (DoriAnn) Snell; Sister-in-law Christine McDonald; Adopted Family Ray and Alicia Kalinowski; and many nieces and nephews. Chester was predeceased by his Father Frank Rozen; Step-Father Phillip Palinski; Sister-in-law Heather Snell; and Niece Jacqueline Snell. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at St. Clement’s Church (745 Duke St. Cambridge, Ontario) at 11:00 a.m. with a reception in the church basement. Interment will follow at Paris Cemetery (116 King Edward St., Paris, Ontario.) As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Telecare Cambridge Distress Centre.
