Constance Margaret Elsie Maile

It is with great sadness we announce that on Thursday, March 28, 2013 that Connie passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital at the young age of 60. Connie was predeceased by her parents Elsie and Russell Moore. She will be missed by her loving husband Paul Sr., her beloved sons Paul Jr. (Leah) and Christopher (Tiffany), daughter-in-law Tricia Maile and her cherished grandchildren Katrina, Keasha, Jared, and Deleah. She also leaves behind her sisters Linda, Sharon (David), Carol (Chris), her brother Dennis, 5 nieces, 4 nephews, and her mother-in-law Ivy Maile as well as sadly missed by her best friends Linda Hedderson and Christine Kitchen. She will be remembered for her many years of working for the UFCW 1977. Connie knew how to live life to the fullest and have as much fun as she could with every possible moment. She had a way about her that just drew people in to her. She has touched so many souls and it will leave a void in the heart of those who knew her well. The family would like to extend a big thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses at the Grand River Hospital for taking such great care of Connie over the past year.

Connie’s family will receive relatives and friends at the BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME (519-653-3251) 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The Service to Celebrate Connie’s Life will take place at Saint John’s Anglican Church, 567 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
