Ellen Bernice Roth

Passed away peacefully at Riverbend Place, Cambridge, Ontario. Predeceased by her parents, Gertrude and Robert Wilson; brother, Robert Wilson and nephew Sean Houston. Survived by her only child Richard Roth and wife Cindy (nee Bodfield), her sisters Sharon Houston & Robin; Joan Fischer & Brian; Ron Wilson & Claire and Carol Wilson. Ellen will also be greatly missed by her loving grandchildren, Hollee Hunter and Adam Roth and great-grandchildren, Connor and Ethan Hunter as well as her nieces Kendra, Kim, Karen Erin; nephews Gregory, Scott & Brent and their spouses and children. Ellen was an active member of the Queen Rebecca Lodge in Cambridge for many years and held various positions. She had a great compassion for all children in her family and shared her love freely with them. At Ellen’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation and a Celebration of Life has taken place. A most sincere Thank You to all the Staff of Riverbend Place for making Ellen’s last weeks, happy ones. She had embraced you, her extended family in her new home. This has meant so much to us her family to know she found peace to simply “sleep away” in peace. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
