Frank Durocher

Frank Durocher Jr. passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton on Sunday, April 19, 2009, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Jean Hendra and loving father of Barbara Muntz and her husband Jack of Brantford, Gerry and his wife Mary, and Greg and his wife Lisa, all of Cambridge. Also survived by his nine grandchildren Caralee (David Brown), Taryl (Chris Watson), Barbara (Darin Cleary), Daniel, Andrew, Chelsea, Maddison, Matthew (Sarah), Richard (Angela), and his seven great-grandchildren Josh, Lexi, Tyler, Mitchell, Kennedy, Sydney and Logan, and his brother Lorne and wife Carole of Windsor.Mr. Durocher was predeceased by his parents Frank and Rose Durocher, three brothers and two sisters.Frank was born on May 15, 1926 in Windsor and had lived in Cambridge since 1964, moving to Brantford in 2008. He was a member of King Street Baptist Church, Cambridge, Christian Business Men’s Club and Kiwanis Club. Frank was a retired Insurance Broker.The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at King Street Baptist Church, 361 King Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Victor Lujetic officiating.
