With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that Guy Nelson Weatherston passed away on Friday, November 24th, 2017, at the age of 63. Guy was a loving, funny, giving, and bodacious man who was so full of life. He was a wonderful friend to all who knew him; the kind of guy who was always up for anything. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his wife, Cathy Weatherston. He will be dearly remembered by his sisters Dianne Weatherston and family, Gail Ortman and family, and Kathy Weatherston and family, his parents-in-law Joesph and Annette Lewin and family, and many more extended family members and friends. Guy was predeceased by his parents, Gladys and Nelson “Bud” Weatherston. Friends and relatives are invited to a Memorial Service at Barthel Funeral Home on Saturday, December 2nd at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior. A reception will follow at the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lisaard and Innisfree Hospice.
