TUCCI, Helen - Born Helena Szubert on May 23, 1941, in Poland; with heavy hearts the family announces that Helen joined her beloved Sergio after 14 years, passing away peacefully at Hilltop Manor, Cambridge, on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
Helen came to Canada in November of 1951, met Sergio in Toronto and raised a beautiful family, relocating to Cambridge in 1975. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Gina (Bill) Ree and Antonette (John) Tucci. Proud Grandma to Tasha, Alicia (Mitch), Felicia (Mike), Joshua (Nicole) and Malina (Graham), and proud Nonna to Brooklyn, Alexis, Jayden, Scarlett, Madden and Milo. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519-653-3251). A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, June 24th at St. Clement's Parish, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill (ETA 2:30 pm). At Helen’s request, donations to the Alzheimer Society Waterloo-Wellington or the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated in lieu of flowers.
