J. Gordon Johnston

JOHNSTON – Mr. J. Gordon Johnston of Delhi and formerly of Cambridge passed away at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Friday, December 21, 2012 in his 88th year. A retired employee of Hostess-Frito Lay, Cambridge for 35 years. Gordon was a long time member of the Wandering Canadians Camping Club, Cambridge. Beloved husband of Florence Mary Mulrooney and the Late Wilma (Ireland) Johnston (2000). Dear father of Larry Johnston (Barb), Kitchener, Bonnie Litwiller (Don), Cambridge and Carol Anne Johnston, Cambridge and stepfather of Hanorah Morgan (Rodger), Scotland, Charles Kisielewski (Karen), Scotland and Robert Kisielewski (Rhonda Vey), Brantford. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer & Christopher Litwiller and Andrew Johnston and 8 step grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren. Gord is also survived by his brother Robert Johnston (Leanice), Cambridge as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Laura Johnston, Jean Moore (Late William) and Mae Legere (Late Ken) and by his sister-in-law Audrey Johnston. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi for visitation on Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. only and for evening visitation at Barthel Funeral Home, Cambridge on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel, at the Murphy Funeral Home, Delhi on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
