Janet Ellen Murphy

Passed away peacefully at her residence in Cambridge on Saturday February 23, 2013 in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late Evan Murphy (2000) of Cambridge. Janet was born in Chatham, Ontario August 23, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Thelma Moir (nee Anderson). Cherished mother of Bradley and wife Margo of Kitchener, Ellen and husband James Collins of Cambridge, Colleen and husband Allan Devlin of Toronto, Timothy and wife Lucie of Corunna, Wendy and husband Steven Ackroyd of Oakville. Janet will also be sadly missed by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, two nieces, two nephews , numerous cousins and one Aunt. Dear sister of Arthur Moir and wife June of Orangeville and Marvin Moir and wife Diana of Port Dover. A Memorial Service will be held at Christ the King United Church, 167 Thaler Ave., Kitchener on Saturday March 2, 2013 at 11 am. Private family interment at Walsh Baptist Community Cemetery to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Kidney Foundation, Arthritis Society or the Heart and Stoke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
