Jean Schoenfeld

Passed away suddenly at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on September 11, 2014, in her 84th year. Beloved mother and best friend of Doris Brodin (Ulf), Doug Schoenfeld (Lorraine) and Pat Hartley. Loving grandmother of Karolyn Sheppard (Reed) and Christopher Anderson (Jen) of B.C, Melisa Conley (Mark), DJ Schoenfeld (Melanie) and Jennifer Schoenfeld (Tyler) of Cambridge, Shauna Rougoor (Matt) of Alberta and Ann Wikstrom (Tomas) and Linda Brumen (Johnny) of Sweden. Cherished great-grandmother of Samantha, Jackson, Mason, Monroe, Shea-Lyn, Cassie, Jamie, Natalie, Emelie, Alex and Lova. She will be missed by sister Lolo Wright and brother Harold McAfee, nieces, nephews and friends. Jean now joins her loving husband Neill, daughter Carol and son-in-law Jamie Anderson and son-in-law Peter Hartley. Jean was a long time and involved member at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed the last twelve years at Riverbend Place with all their activities, especially playing cards and bingo with her friends. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. The family wish to thank the CMH 5th floor nurses and Dr. Achymitchuck and the staff and residents at Riverbend Place.

Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday, September 14th, at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519-653-3251) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 15, 2014 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 810 King Street East, Cambridge at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
