Jessie Morrison Blaikley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Jessie's passing on Friday, August 25, 2017 after a brief stay at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener. Jessie is predeceased and together again with her beloved husband John (2013). Loving mother to John Blaikley (Terri) and Margaret Bernard (Barry). Proud Grandmother to Kyle (Kelly) and Jessica and Great-Grandmother to Cameron. She is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Margaret Morrison, brothers: John, Matthew, Thomas and James and sisters Anne and Margaret. Jessie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends across Canada and Scotland. Jessie's greatest joy in life came through her family. There was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her children and grandchildren. We will all miss her dearly. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519-653-3251). A sincere thank you to the caring nurses of Freeport Hospital, we couldn't have made it through our time there without you.
