Noreen Aleta Reist

REIST, Noreen Aleta – Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Lisaard House at age 83. Predeceased by her loving husband Norman Reist (1995) and parents Clifford and Florence Stonehouse. Dearly loved mother of Lynn Reist and her dear friend Neil Affleck and grandmother of James and Alec Bell. Dear sister-in-law of Helen Reist, and special aunt to Nancy, Ann, Marg and Gwen. She will also be missed by her many dear friends and Scrabble Group at Preston School Apartments. Noreen was an Avid Blue Jays Baseball fan right to the end. A special thank you to all the Care Giving Team who helped Noreen stay in her home for as long as she could, and also to the wonderful Staff at Lisaard House. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 13 at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd, Cambridge (519-653-3251) from 12:30 until time of service from the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery. Following the service, family and friends are invited to a reception at St. John’s Anglican Church (567 Queenston Road), Cambridge. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Lisaard House would be appreciated by the family.
