Mrs. Pat Hilda Pat Jean Martin Muir

Passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in her 83rd year.Beloved wife of the late Lewis Emery Muir (1985). Loving mother of Al and Sharon Muir, Jean and Ross Campbell, James and Gerri Muir, Lois and Gord Stewart, Bryan and Kate Muir, Val and Garry Kinzie, Heather and Don Kane, Douglas and Sylvia Muir and Penny and Arlin Martin. Dearly loved grandmother of Andy, Joshua, Kenneth and Kim, Pat and Pam, Chad and Keri, Gordon, Wilfred, Kelly and Rhonda, Jennifer, Nicholas and Stephanie, Sara, Jessica and Claire. Great-grandmother of Maleri, Kirstan, Blake, Brittany, Sam, Paige and Matt, Ainsley, Joey, Jacob, Gordie, Christopher, Darrion and Alexander. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Hilda Martin, infant daughter Baby Muir and grandson Robert Muir.

Hilda was a lifetime member of Zion United Church (Cambridge), and past president of The United Church Women’s Institute and former resident of Fairview Mennonite Home.

Hilda’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 7 -9 pm and Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Road, Cambridge). Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 2 pm from Trillium United Church, (450 King Street E., Cambridge). Spring interment Zion Cemetery.
