

Paul was born and raised in Galt, Ontario. After marrying, he began a long career as an educator, serving as principal with three Niagara secondary schools. He brought his first family to St. Catharines in 1966, having accepted his first principalship at an innovative new high school, Kernahan Park. Years later, he moved on to Grimsby SS, eventually retiring from Laura Secord SS. He is predeceased by his brother, Philip (Nora), and his first wife Pam (Meyer). Survived by children Heather (Larry), Brian (Annette), Sharon (Stan), and Carolyn (Jim), seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Following retirement, Paul left Niagara to begin a new life in Kitchener with his second family, former wife Ruth and children, Jennifer and David. His final years were spent in Thedford, Ontario with his beloved partner, Carolyn. A private family service took place on November 1st in Cambridge.
