Peggy Lee Storm

With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that Peggy Lee Storm passed away on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 at the age of 64. Peggy was both a “sweet old lady” and a “grumpy old lady,” depending on the day, but we loved her either way, and we knew that she loved us no matter what. Peggy would go above and beyond for her family, to provide for them, and to make sure they were well looked after. She did this for others too in the years that she worked as a Registered Nurse. In her down time, Peggy loved to watch hummingbirds, or shop for bargains at yard sales or the farmer’s market. She would always say, “Food tastes better when you share.” When Carmine came over for a lasagna dinner, he would look at her lasagna and jokingly claim that he “made it in ceramics,” even though it was food. Peggy is going to be deeply missed and forever lovingly remembered by her husband Peter Storm, son Sandy Storm, daughters Shannon Sangster (Shayne) and Kelly Goldrick (Brent), grandchildren Josh Storm, Destiny Storm, Hailee Goldrick, Brenna Goldrick, Jordyn Goldrick, Adison Goldrick, and a future grandson arriving in April, 2018, her father Don Foster, her sisters Dawn Freire (Nick) and Carolyn Steffaneli, and her brother-in-law Carmine Steffaneli. Peggy was predeceased by her mother Lorene Barbara Foster, sister Joanne Elaine Foster, and two angel grandbabies. Friends and relatives are invited to a Celebration of Peggy’s Life on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Road, Cambridge) from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
