Sylvia Margaret "Peg" Hay

Peacefully, while surrounded by her family and their love, at Lisaard House, Cambridge, on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the age of 68. Her work here is done and she has moved on to her next journey. Beloved wife of Bill, in their 50th year of marriage. Loved mother of Julie Hay and Mark Hay (Kendra). Dear Nana of her “Dolly” Claire and Eddie. Lovingly remembered by her brother Dan Burr (Gail 2014), nieces Lori Burr (Cec) and Kristie Holiad (John), their children Brittany and Justin and many other family and friends. Peg will always be missed by her dogs Millie and Annie. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Evans, Dr. Healy and Dr. J. Geddes but most of all to the staff and volunteers at Lisaard House. Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Visitation at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519-653-3251) on Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Memorial Service to celebrate Peg’s life will follow at Saint John’s Anglican Church, 567 Queenston Road at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Donations to Lisaard House would be appreciated by the family.
