At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her children. Dearly loved mother of Verlyn Yoshiki (Alan) of Markham, Bruce (Robin) of Cambridge and Jim (Cindy) of Barrie. Beloved Nanny to Kelli (Jeff), Karen, Ian, Christopher, Katie, Michael (Melissa), Jared (Eunice), Andrew and Elizabeth. Fondly known as Verlyn One to step-grandchildren Anthony, Jeremy and Robin Petrie. Great-grandmother to Michael and Jimmy. Predeceased by husband Robert John (1978) and son Callum Paul (2005). Strong-minded to the end, we are honouring our mother’s instructions for no funeral. If desired, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. Our grateful thanks to the physicians, therapists and outstanding nurses of the 5th floor Acute Care Unit.
