Verna Ruth Griffin Clark

Heather and Kim are profoundly saddened to announce the sudden passing of their mother Verna Clark (nee Griffin) on August 20, 2011 now heavenly reunited with the love of her life, Robert Clark (Bob), 16 years to the day. Forever remembered by daughters Heather Wilson (Norm) and Kim Finnie (Carl), her adoring grandchildren Glen Wilson (Kelly), Stephanie Wilson (Ryan), Allie Finnie and Scott Finnie and her great-grandchildren Brandon, Madison, Kiera and Nick Wilson. Verna also leaves behind her brother Gordon Griffin (Marilyn) of Norwich and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Minnie Griffin (Cronin) and siblings Harold, Milton, Bruce, Bill, Doris, Eleanor and Lula.

Verna’s family will receive friends at The Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road in Cambridge (519-653-3251) on Tuesday August 23, 2011 from 7-9 pm. and from 1-2 pm on August 24, 2011. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on August 24, 2011 at 2 pm. with interment to follow at Glen Morris Cemetery. The family would like to extend their sincerest thank you to Cambridge Country Manor for all their care and support over the last 4 years. Those who wish to make memorial donations in lieu of flowers are encouraged to direct them to the Alzheimer’s Society and would be appreciated by the family.
