Charlene Vera Moores

Charlene was born on May 13, 1934, in Glencoe to the late Richard Butler and the late Malvina Malcolm.

Adored mother of Jane and Doug, the son she did not have but at long last got. Special aunt to well loved Ryan and Esther. Much missed Nanny to fur grandbabies Demi, Bella and Tato.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by seven siblings (Mary, Glenda, Terri Jo, Richard Jr., Harvey, Kenny and Blaine) and leaves behind her sole remaining sibling, Rachel Czarnecki (Eric) of Oakville, ON.

Teaching filled Mom’s days and home and family filled the balance of her time. She was happiest creating – knitting, sewing, quilting, baking. She loved to entertain and it was guaranteed that the door was always open, the kettle was always on and delicious meals and treats were a daily expression of love.

Mom lived a quiet life with grace and dignity until the end. Her love for her children was deep, protective, expressed in every gesture and well reciprocated. No words can ever express how much you are loved and missed.
