David Hachey Sr.

David passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on April 8, 2026, at the age of 79.

He was the beloved husband of Sharon (St-Laurent) Hachey.

He is survived by his children, David Jr. (Lucia) and Allan; his grandchildren, Melinda (Scott), Madison (Brady), and Hannah; and his three great-grandchildren, Félix, Benjamin, and Millie-Jay. He is also survived by his sister, Ethel (Hachey) Murchie.

He was predeceased by his parents, as well as several siblings and dear friends.

A Funeral mass for David will be held at Our-Lady-of-Snows church in Campbellton on April 17 at 11:00am

Visitations will be held at Maher's Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne street in Campbellton on April 16 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on April 17 from 10:00am until the time of departure for the funeral.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Manoir de la Vallée in Atholville, as well as his dear friend Ron Dubé, for the incredible care David received over the past two years. They would also like to acknowledge the compassionate care provided by the Palliative Care staff at Campbellton Regional Hospital.
