

Emily Mabel Ellsworth (nee Mosher) passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on July 14, 2011 at the age of 95. Born in Sand River, NS on March 20, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Mosher and the late Carrie Adelia Colbourne.
She leaves to mourn her sons Roger (Patricia) of Ottawa, ON and Richard (Margaret) of Calgary, AB. Also survived by her grandchildren Darren (Dominique), Stephen (Molly), Kimberley (Blaine), Scott (Challah) and great grandchildren Paige, Keelyn and Emma. Predeceased by her husband Haig Ellsworth, sisters Bea, Helen and Isobel and brothers Roy and Gordon.
In addition to spending over 40 years as an employee of NB Tel, Emily was a life long member of the 1st United Baptist Church and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the hospital for their compassionate care. Also special thanks to Helen Stewart, Joan Lyons, Cathy Glencross, Brian Gregoire and Gracie Firth for their love and support over the years.
The funeral service was held at the First Baptist Church Campbellton on Monday at 2:00 pm. Reverend Douglas Phillip officiating. Interment at the Campbellton Rural Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton.
