Isabelle (Langlais) Dugas

Isabelle was born on September 23, 1923, in Campbellton to the late Theodore Langlais and the late Hermance Boulay.

Isabelle was a veteran of WWII stationed in Montreal, QC. She then married her husband Edgar Dugas in 1945, on September 11. Isabelle loved and cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved hunting with her husband and being outdoors. Loved bowling and knitting, also enjoyed having lots of company, gardening and TV bingo.

She is survived by her 3 children; Daughter Rose Marie Bernaudo (Emelio) from Burlington, ON, Son Edgar JR ‘Eddie’(John) from Toronto, ON, Daughter Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ (Gerald) from Campbellton. Her sisters; Juliette Andrew from Campbellton, Georgina Francoeur from Etobicoke, ON, Also remembered by her grandchildren Ashley Rose (Chris), Mathew Stockley (Wendy), Joey Bernaudo (Michelle) and Leanne Menchella (Mark); and 7 great grand children Emma, Charlotte, Avery, Abigail, Alessio, Quinn and Mateo. Isabelle was predeceased by her beloved husband Edgar Dugas SR and her sister Rita Chalut.

Isabelle, a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister will be sorely missed but her memories will remain in our hearts always.

A funeral mass for Isabelle will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Campbellton on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 11:00 am

The family will welcome family and friends at Maher's funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St., Campbellton on Monday, September 18, from 7pm to 9pm and on Tuesday from 9:30am until the time of the funeral.
